Sin sat on the northern banks of the lake, staring down into the water. He had missed fishing. It was one of the only things to do in his old town to pass the time. It was a great thing to do. He then saw his reflection in the water, and threw a stone into the water to get rid of the reflection.
He was staring into the water and watching the ripples intently. He heard some distant rustling, and ignored it. It couldn't be anything as harmful as that faery, he thought. He couldn't help but chuckle at the thought of how out of hand that got. It was a great day, but he wouldn't like to repeat it. Then, he began to relax. He layed out on the rocks he was sitting on, and stretched. He loved the feel of warmth on him. And his hat sat beside him, along with his sunglasses.
As he dozed off intently, the rustling grew closer and closer. After his last encounter, he began to tense up. He was thinking whether or not it would be a foe, when he fell asleep, loosely, and able to wake up rather easily, on the rocks, to the sound of the light waves.

The Phantom really didn't know what he was doing, where he was going, or what his intentions were to go exploring in the first place. There were plenty of things to keep him occupied in the city, but in the city, there were too many humans. The only thing that humans made him think of was how he was going to live forever and they weren't. If his state could be called living at all. There were plenty of immortals in the suburbs, but no one really liked or appreciated Phantoms, as most of them were just mean and up to no good. Sixx realized that it would be harder than he thought to make a friend in this place.
He looked out at the lake through the trees that he had been hiding in for a while. The water looked so appealing to him. He hadn't felt the cooling sensation of lake water in about fifty years. It seemed like a distant memory that wasn't even there anymore. He briefly thought about going to take a swim or something in the crystal clear waters, just to experience it again. He walked forward a few steps, noisily pushing aside branches of trees and bushes. His pale skin in the sunlight was a bitter contrast to the different vibrant colors of the lake. His white t-shirt was almost the same color as his deathly white skin. His black hair lay on his neck in the shaggy and choppy cut that it was constantly in.
The only thing colorful about Sixx was his eyes. They were a vibrant blue-green color that seemed to glow. The terribly thin boy walked forward some more, until he saw a figure lying beside the lake where he was about to go. Instantly, the Phantom's curiosity sparked, and he raised his eyebrows at the stranger. He stumbled forward, his skinny frame making it seem like he would blow away with the wind if it was strong enough. "Hello, friend!" he said cheerily, in a dream-like tone. He hadn't used this poor body's vocal chords in a long time. He hoped that this person wouldn't have the same prejudice against Phantoms as the others did.

"...Hello?" Sin said, in an inquiring way, questioning who this stranger was, and wondering his motives. He sat up and put his hat and sunglasses on so he would be more concealed, not showing his face in the shadows, only the glint of orange light on his glasses. "What is someone as... Unhealthy-looking... as you doing, traveling alone?" Sin asked, his knife concealed in his hand, under his gloves and sleeves. No piece of his skin was visible at the moment.
"You seem to be a rather... Curious sort. So what are you?" He was staring at the thin boy, wondering if he was malnurished, and his skin made Sin question if he was a vampire, or if he just stayed out of the sun too much. This boy, if nothing else, may have some rather appealing treasures, and an easy battle, if nothing else. He remembered the vigor of Dax, and saw none of it in this new boy... "Tell me your name, and what you are. Now." He demanded, waiting for an answer.

Sixx listened to the tall man's words and watched his actions closely with curious eyes. He didn't seem like the most kind person that the Phantom had ever met, but no one really did around here. Maybe he was just startled by the Phantom's appearance. Most likely. What is someone as... Unhealthy-looking... as you doing, traveling alone? Sixx only gave the man a small smile. "I'm not travelling alone." he said simply. The same smile on his face, the same dreamy tone in his voice. Technically, he was travelling alone. But in his mind, it was him and the body of Thomas, now his best friend. He didn't count it as being alone. Thomas just couldn't respond when he talked to him.
So what are you? Sixx didn't reply to that question, and instead took a few steps forward, getting closer to the halfbreed, staring with wide, blue-green eyes. There was also an obvious contrast between the color of his skin and the dark, almost black circles around his eyes that slid down in stripes like they were dripping. It gave his eyes a sunken-in look, and gave his entirety a more ghostly look.Tell me your name, and what you are. Now. Sixx stopped smiling. It didn't look like making friends was going very well. "My name is Sixx. And I'm a Phantom." Another creeping smile crawled onto his face. "I hope to make friends with you." It was clear that Sixx didn't know how to make friends.

"If you're not alone, then who are you with?" Sin inquired. And the next thing... Make friends? Who did this... Thing... Think he was talking to? Didn't he know humans were hated in these parts? "And why do you want to be my friend? You should be careful who you talk to. Didn't your mother teach you any better? You don't want a friend who will drain you of blood and rob you in your sleep. What makes you want me?" He said, grinning wide enough to show his fangs. All that was visible on his face were the orange lenses of his glasses, and his fangs, which seemed to glow white.
"You seem worthless..." Sin said, and turned to walk along the edge of the water, first throwing a rock at the sickly looking boy. It landed right in the middle of his chest, knocking him off balance. "You are too easy of a target, weak one." As he began to walk off, a katana was seen on his back, and was in the position to be grabbed with both hands and slash across a chest in a fluid motion. If nothing else, this would be a much easier fight than with the faery. This one appeared to be human.

If you're not alone, then who are you with? Sixx grinned wide this time, squinting his eyes in a happy expression. He would love to tell this stranger all about Thomas and their friendship. But there was also a sad part to that story, about how Thomas had to leave. It made Sixx kind of depressed just thinking about it, so he didn't say anything to the stranger about Thomas. "I wanted to be your friend because you were the only person I found out here, and no one else seems to want to be my friend. . ." His voice trailed off. He didn't understand why everyone hated Phantoms so much. He hadn't done the kind of things that other Phantoms had. So why did everyone hate him for things that he didn't do?
Sixx was caught off guard by a small rock hitting him square in the chest. He gasped in surprise as his arms windmilled around, trying to help him regain balance. He succeeded, but nearly fell over in the process. This guy really wasn't that nice. Sixx wasn't sure if he wanted to be his friend anymore. You are too easy of a target, weak one. The Phantom frowned. He didn't like being called weak at all. "I'm not weak! And I'm not worthless!" His voice was steadily losing the dream-like tone. "I'll show you!" Sixx put his two pale hands together, and after a few seconds, a small ball of blazing energy was caught in between them. It was deep ebony, purple and black, and arced as though it was electricity. He sent this ball of energy toward the stranger's back, hitting his cloak and leaving a few stains of purple electricity that ran through it before fading.

"... What in the hell would make you think that's a good idea?" Sin chuckled as he whipped around and learched through the air at Sixx, and slashed with his claws at his chest, tearing his shirt. He then jumped up into a tree, squatting on a particularly thick limb. He stared at Sixx, waiting for his next move. In the meantime, Sin pulled out his knife, and held it in his usual backwards-blade stance. He was determined to win.
This challenger would be particularly fun if he had company. This was going to be a good thrill. He might even get a free meal out of it. Sin thought of the magic Dax used, and how this was nothing like it. Coming to the area near this city was the greatest learning experience he had ever had. It was, for sure, a good thing.
"You might have to watch who you deal with. I can't be taken down that easily. It did kinda hurt though, so kudos for that." He began to chuckle and grin, his fangs gleaming in the sun.

What in the hell would make you think that's a good idea? The Phantom still held the pout-ish frown on his face. "I know it's not a good idea." And really, he did. He usually wasn't the one to pick fights. But he knew one thing, and that was that he wasn't weak. If he was weak, he wouldn't have been able to take Thomas's body as his own and send his friend to God-knows-where. But he was brave enough to do that. And that was the absolute worst thing that he had had to do. So why not be brave enough to take on this halfbreed? As soon as the other turned around and slashed him across the chest, Sixx knew that he regretted his decision to pick a fight. After seeing the halfbreed jump into a tree out of the corner of his eye, he checked down at his shirt and the skin underneath. The claws hadn't really pierced the skin, but there were still littl marks where the skin had lightened, obviously scratched.
Sixx looked up into the branches of the tree, straight at the tall man. His blue-green eyes were fixed in a burning glare at the other. "You think that hurt? I'll show you something that hurts." Quickly and fluidly, Sixx flew to the tree and put both of his hands on the trunk, just under the branch that the halfbreed was on. Instantly, arcs of the ebony energy started to surge through every feature of the tree. The trunk, the branches, the leaves. And they went into the one sitting on top of the branch, paralyzing him for a few seconds with pain. When Sixx let go, he looked back up.

"That wasn't very nice, friend!" Sin yelled, and jumped at Sixx, using the knife to slash at his arms, hitting him half of the time, and the rest of the time just coming near to the skin. He then decided to go in for a bite. He flashed his fangs, and pierced them into Sixx's arms, just getting a taste of the blood before craving any more. He then proceded to go to a safe distance away and watch the reaction. He jumped up onto a large rock protruding from the water at a dropofff. This was a great place to be. Provided he didn't drown.
Sin took his knife and used the edge of the smoothe, fine-grain rock to slightly sharpen it quickly, making it as good as new. This would be quite handy. He then reached for his katana, but didn't grab it. That would be saved. He didn't want to use it at all costs. It would hurt this poor thing. He wouldn't use it. As long as he was in control. But, he thought, that might not be for too long...
Sin took a drink of the fresh lakewater, and then gave a hearty laugh, and looked at Sixx. "Come and get me." He said, wanting to see what else this strange boy could do. These were quite... Interesting skills.

Sixx didn't have a lot of time to see the halfbreed before watching him jump down. The Phantom braced himself as he was nearly tackled to the ground, and raised his bone-thin arms up to cover his head. He could only feel the pain of having the skin on his forearms cut by some kind of knife. As he lowered his arms to observe with horror the damage that had been done, he felt another sharp pain in his upper right arm. The halfbreed had sank his teeth deep into the body of Sixx's beloved Thomas. Sixx almost started sobbing with tears at the sight of the near black blood starting to ooze from the wounds. The blood hadn't run through this body in decades. And it reminded Sixx of how dead Thomas really was.
Come and get me. Sixx looked up with a pained expression at the person that had nearly ruined the perfect skin of Thomas that the Phantom had worked so hard to preserve. "I hate you." he said in a hushed tone. He knew that tears were on the verge of spilling over from his bright eyes. With his eyes getting more watery by the second, Sixx put his hands down, facing the ground, where the space in between his hands and the ground started to visually darken. Soon, a large ball of the arcing energy was sitting precariously on the ground. One could hear the energy moving throughout the object. Sixx put all his strength in pushing the ball toward the halfbreed at incredible speed, kicking up the dirt and grass in its path.
