[/color]Harpies are treated normally in the community, but most prefer to remain solitary.
History[/color]
Harpies came to Felaria shortly before the humans. Many citizens had reported large birdlike creatures coming from all directions and landing on the far side of the forest. They did not seem to leave, and after a while, aa party was deployed to find out what they were. They found a small village shortly after crossing the lake, and were greeted expectantly. They explained that like the others, they had heard tell of a nice place for inhuman people, and had decided to settle there. The citizens stayed in the village for a few days, and when they left to return to the city, ten or so harpies accompanied them. The harpies still live in that village today, and while they are treated like any other species, they prefer to remain for the most part solitary.

- Have large, feathered wings
- Lower body consists of bird legs with feet that have talons
- Have a bird tail
- Hair consists of feathers
- Hawk-like eyes (Can be any color)
- Hatch from eggs
Types[/color]
There are regular harpies, as described above.
Then there are Valkyries, which are a subspecies. Valkyries are hosts of female figures who decide who will die in battle. The valkyries bring their chosen to the afterlife hall of the slain.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
