I had a dream I was a werewolf. My soul was filled with crystal light.

Sydonia smiled happily as her vampire friend wrapped her arms lightly around her. The werewolf reached up with her own embrace and returned the comforting gesture. She felt wonderful to be in a place where she knew she was wanted. Where she knew she could never leave. And where she knew that she would always have someone to turn to. In her own corridor of the living quarters, she had no one. Her lonely room at the very end of the hallway was the only one occupied. Sure, some spare relative would come by every once in a while to spend the night in one of the rooms as if it were only a hotel. But other than that, she had no one of blood connection that was living with her. And she wasn't sure about where the ones were that were still living.
Sydonia still smiled. She had Sangsue. And right now, that's all she needed. "No, I have everything that I need." She leaned forward and pressed her head playfully against her friend's arm. Maybe she would like to go roaming around the palace for a bit. She hadn't been here in forever it seemed, and it seemed necessary to get reacquainted with it.

Sang smiled at the return of her embrace and squeezed her friend a bit. "No, I have everything that I need." She petted Sydonia's head when it was leaned against her arm, and responded with a bright "Alright." and a smile, then let go of her friend's shoulder and leaned back on the bed, making kissy noises at Mou to get him to come over. Sang picked up the ferret and played with him a bit, then looked back to Sydonia. "Do you want me to stay, or is it alright if I leave for a bit?" She inquired hesitantly, not sure if Syd would be uncomfortable without anyone here. "I haven't eaten properly in a few days, and I'd like to get a snack in before I go on a proper hunt tonight..."
While Sangsue was always first one to enforce the rules, she really was hungry. She hadn't gone without a proper meal in a very long time, and it was getting uncomfortable. She didn't plan on hunting in the city, though. No, that would cause far too much trouble. People knew not to ask questions, but if people disappeared during the day, then that was different than just not coming back from a late night stroll. So she would hunt in the forest. Not very good food, but it would tide her over until later. She almost asked Sydonia if she would like to come along later, but then figured that that probably wouldn't be the smartest idea after last time.
