The night was silent as Rodney prowled through the allies and down the walkways near the outskirts of the suburbs, near the Royal House. Knowing that it isn't safe to be roaming around at this time of night, Rodney trotted along rather quickly. He only stopped every now and then to sniff the air and to make sure no one was stalking him. He was just about to continue on his way when he heard a noise. He assumed that someone from the Royal House or a werewolf on the hunt must have spotted him. He quickly scampered out of sight and waited for the worst to happen.
Out from behind a metal trash bin came, not a werewolf, but a small dragon chick. It was a rather thin little thing with gray scales and piercing red eyes; a European dragon, and he looked as if he had been lost for quite some time. Relieved, Rodney came out of hiding and approached the infant creature. He said in a calming voice, "Come now, I have not come to harm you." The little dragon stared at Rodney as the rather gental Kitsune gingerly pick it up. Rodney noticed that there were scratched and claw marks on it; they weren't fresh. Something terrible must have happened to its mother and the poor sole must have tried to help. "No need to fear," Rodney assured. "Everything will be just fine now."

Angels are never Alone...Most of the Time
Arceus was out for a midnight stroll, amused at the beauty of the Suburbs. He always loved this place far more than the human part. There, it was always crowded, and he always towered above the pathetic, disgusting humans. Here, it was wide open, and the grass was green, and his fellows could walk without the fear of being sighted. Oh there was a half moon out, dreamily illuminating the landscape. It seemed perfect. And then he started thinking back to the first time he met Jinx, oh that was awkward...
Just as he was walking, he noticed a little fox walking along the street. When the heck is there foxes in Felaria? he thought to himself suspiciously. He hadn't been in Felaria as long as some of the others, but he still didn't know about wild animals in the city. As he went to investigate, it stopped, and noticed a little dragon chick. To his amazement, he heard the fox creature speak. He was too far away to hear, but he definitely knew it was the fox talking.
Amazed, he started to walk faster toward them. He used his white magic to create a little ball of light in his hand to see more clearly. He did, However, feel a pang of fear he didn't recognize, a sixth sense that warned his something might be wrong. He looked around, but he couldn't see anything. Of course, you never see what is after you until too late, at least here in Felaria... he decided. Keeping that fear in mind, he continued toward the pair of them.

The little injured dragon chick chirped in self pity as Rodney stood up. He heard a commotion off in the distance and turned to see what was going on. A white light flickered in the distance and Rodney began to get worried. Trying to avoid any sort of conflict, he scooped up the infant chick and slowly walked to the side of the pathway, making room for the approaching figure to pass by.
The little dragon whimpered as he huddled himself close to his new found guardian. Rodney reached down and patted his lonely and tattered head to comfort the young chick. Rodney looked up at the night sky as he listened to the approaching figure as they ran up the path.

When problems arise, the angel will be there...
Arceus was now growing quite suspicious, and even more worried. He saw the fox scoop up the little form that he had seen near it and begin to walk away from him. A new sense of urgency in mind, he charged as fast as he could. Hundreds of thoughts swam through his mind about what danger that little form could be in right now, especially in the hands of a talking fox (God knows why a fox was talking...) and knew he should help. With all the creatures about in the city, it was far too dangerous to be around at night. Anything that did should probably be checked out for the good of everyone. Halt! Stop! I must speak with you! He yelled in anger and fury. Then, he conjured some of the amazing magic within him and he shot it forth, a blazing ball of white light, which exploded twenty feet from the pair ahead: a small flair, to startle them and block their path. Then, he shot another one on their opposite side, to block any escape. He would get to the bottom of this...
